What families can expect

Build the player. Build the teammate. Love the game.

We coach for lasting growth—not shortcuts or a single summer’s results. Players are challenged, supported, and given room to learn through competition.

01

Prepare for the big field

Training develops the movement, strength, speed, and baseball skills players will need as the game expands.

02

Compete with purpose

Drills become games, challenges, and decisions so development stays focused, demanding, and fun.

03

Protect healthy arms

Proper warm-ups, throwing preparation, and workload management support strong arms for the long term.

04

Develop versatile players

Players learn transferable infield, outfield, pitching, and catching skills rather than being labelled too early.

05

Be accountable

Players learn to arrive prepared, work for their teammates, communicate well, and follow through.

06

Play the next pitch

Mistakes are information. Reset, learn, compete again, and define success by preparation and full effort.

The environment

High standards without fear of failure.

Young players grow when they are encouraged to try more, reach farther, and take smart risks. Real failure is not making an error—it is avoiding the work or refusing to learn.

Work hard. Give your best. Get better. Try again.

Our team mindset: “Next Pitch.”

Baseball must still be fun. Purposeful competition and age-appropriate technology help players see their progress and enjoy the process.

The 2027 development plan

One team. A full year of development.

Each phase has a purpose, building from fall foundations to indoor development and a competitive summer season.

  1. September–October

    Start together outdoors

Fall practices and exhibition games while the weather allows, with flexibility for existing fall commitments.

  2. October–December

    Build movement foundations

Baseball-specific mobility, functional movement, and sports-vision exercises that support reaction and ball tracking.

  3. January–April

    Train with The Baseball Zone

Team development in partnership with The Baseball Zone, complemented by approximately ten weeks of skill and baseball-IQ training in a school gym.

  4. May–August

    Compete through the summer

Toronto Baseball Association loop play, four tournaments—including at least one out of town—plus exhibition games and practices.

  5. Mid-August onward

    Earn the postseason

TBA regional playoffs in mid-August, followed by Provincial playoffs on Labour Day weekend if the team qualifies.
